Weird and exciting times

Class of 2012 is facing some busy and weird times. A few are on exchange, a couple have already left, and many will soon have found some gainful means of employment. It seems like our little bubble is under attack by the inevitability of our 2012 graduation date. However, one thing is certain. The reins are being handed over to a new generation.

Class of 2013!

First years are starting to settle in and getting to know the nuances of MBA-life, and have probably caught a glimpse of how intense and fun their time at ESADE will be. Although academia is often times challenging on its own, there is obviously more to an MBA than just hitting the books. The MBASA Exec has just been elected, and new Business Club leaders have been chosen to take their respective clubs to the next level.

In orientation week we stressed that the student association is more than just the executive board, and clubs. MBASA has evolved by increasing its level of activities from the organization of purely social events to events attended by student government officers and key business leaders from all over the world. I remember the 2011 graduation ceremony where many contributed stories of their MBA experience, some with tears on their faces. The gratitude and excitement they expressed from such a great (and at times challenging) experience made me realize that we are a family connected by a very unique experience.

The continued growth and evolution of MBASA will be a joint effort from all students, and so far the level of activity by the incoming class has been a breath of fresh air. I wish each and every one of you all the best, high energy and heaps of fun during your time at ESADE.

Cheers,

Felix
